SPORTS AND DIETS

When you practise sport, whether at a professional or amateur level, it is very important to eat properly. In this section you can find out about general principles, the differences between sports from a nutritional point of view and specific diets that need to be followed before, during and after a competition.

INTRODUCTION

The field of physiology has clearly clarified how many calories each sporting activity burns and how many calories each type of energy source provides. From a nutrition point of view, the diet recommended to us is based on the food guide pyramid.
